LED Lighting

Smart Street Lighting is a public lighting system that uses technology — specifically sensors and wireless connectivity — to adjust its operation based on real-time conditions. Unlike traditional streetlights that simply turn on at dusk and off at dawn (or stay on regardless of whether anyone is around), smart lights "think" and "communicate." They are a fundamental building block of Smart City infrastructure. A smart lighting system typically consists of three main layers:

Hardware: LED lamps equipped with sensors (motion, light, or even air quality) and a communication module (like 5G, Wi-Fi, or LoRaWAN).
Connectivity: A network that allows the lights to talk to each other and to a central management system.
Software: A centralized dashboard where city operators can monitor energy use, schedule dimming, and receive alerts if a bulb burns out.

Key Capabilities:-
Adaptive Dimming: The lights can brighten when they detect a pedestrian or vehicle and dim when the street is empty.
Remote Management: Maintenance crews don't have to drive around looking for broken lights; the system sends an automatic alert with the exact location of a fault.
Environmental Monitoring: Many systems use the poles as "digital real estate" to house sensors for air quality, traffic flow, or even microphones for gunshot detection.
