Smart agriculture relies on a specific ecosystem of hardware and connectivity such as IoT & Sensors, Robotics and Precision Machinery. The goal of smart agriculture is to improve efficiency, enable harsh environment connectivity and promote sustainability. From a hardware perspective, the "smart" aspect of agriculture is about being dependent on reliable signal and power transmission. For agriculture to be truly smart, the electronic components must withstand the "evolving needs of agriculture," such as chemical resistance, durability, and high-speed data transmission for real-time process control.
